Specialist Wedding Photography – Digital Cinema Still Wins

Australia Johl Dunn Photography experts recently shared his thoughts on the great debate by placing traditional photography versus digital photography.

Digital versus film is a debate that has raged in recent years and is something that every wedding photographer has been debated or discussed at some point. Many photographers are taking the leap into the digital world and not look back. There will always be those opposed to digital photography and is maintained by the motto ‘you can not beat the good old traditional way.

Well, I agree, having used both in digital cinema and I think I’m in a position to offer some insight into this debate.

Now I am an avid fan of digital photography, having worked in both mediums I discovered that the benefits of digital technology are far superior to the film. Below I have listed as a point of some of the reasons why a couple or the photographer to use digital technology on film.

* Digital offers a greater variety and flexibility, you can convert a color photo to black and white or sepia at the touch of a button. Whereas the movie if you take pictures in black and white, then you can not change the color, you’re stuck with that decision.

* If necessary, you can display your photos on your computer in less than 15 minutes, this is especially appropriate for wedding pre-study sessions. With film, I do not know if he did well until the film is collected to be processed.

* You can create some amazing productions and effects to your wedding photographs and albums. There are some great computer programs that can really add another dimension to your photos.
Digital is now at the stage where the high-end cameras are far superior in quality than a film based 35mm camera and continue to improve as technology advances.
